It's not just the boat service that's important, it's how you look after the boat in between services. At GT Marine, we help you look after your engine all the time, so you spend more time on the water and less time in the workshop.

That's why we offer a range of tips and tools, covering everything from how to flush your boat properly to choosing a propeller and how to know if you need a permatrim. Plus, our exclusive to GT Marine 6-weekly maintenance checklist helps keep your engine running well year-round and prevents expensive repairs.

As a Honda Marine Dealer we're authorised to service your new Honda, so you retain your warranty. Yes - we look after 2 strokes as well as 4 strokes. In contrast to a 4 stroke service, a 2 stroke service covers the carburetor clean and tune, spark plugs, carbon build-up, and the oil injection system or fuel mix.

Got an older motor? We'll source parts where we can and quote you before any work starts.

The cost of an outboard service depends on a lot of different factors, like the size and age of your engine and when it was last serviced. As a guide, services range from $400 - $600 + GST for a 50 - 90HP and $700 - $900 + GST for a 100HP and over.

Often outboard motors will come in for a service, but we'll soon discover issues that need to be repaired, commonly water pump issues. The best way to lower your service bill is to use your boat regularly, flush it properly and use the GT Marine Maintenance Checklist ever six weeks.

We have expertise and parts for all major brands - Honda, Yamaha, Johnson, Suzuki, Tohatsu and Mercury outboards.

Whether you have a 2 stroke or 4 stroke fuel injected engine we can get your motor running its best.
